All forms of love relationships are portrayed in anime. Some are sweet and sappy, some are a deep merger of two souls, and some are just plain weird. This list will focus on relationships that are seriously, seriously broken between couples. You shouldn’t necessarily be together just because you can. You shouldn’t necessarily be together just because you can. The relationships between the anime couples on this list are all ones that should have never taken place. These are not the only compatible partners, regardless of whether they are blood relatives, dysfunctional, or a psychotic serial killer. Many of the anime characters on the list may have made a perfectly acceptable choice in their renowned series.
1.Makoto Itou and Kotonoha Katsura
Makoto Itou and Kotonoha Katsura are unquestionably one of the worst couples in all of anime and the perfect example of what not to do in a relationship. The protagonist of the harem, Makoto Itou, seems to be mild-mannered and initially has feelings for Kotonoha Katsura. Kotonoha isn’t prepared for sexual activity, so when he grows bored, he starts sleeping with Sekai Saionji, the woman who helped arrange their initial meeting. Makoto simply lies to Sekai and claims to have broken up with Kotonoha without actually doing so when the latter becomes uncomfortable with the concept and threatens to end it unless Makoto is honest with Kotonoha.
After that, he begins sleeping with nearly every girl he encounters, lying to them all about his true intentions. Eventually, they all dump him because he’s refusing to talk to Sekai, who claims to be pregnant. Well, all except Kotonoha, who is totally obsessed with Makoto.Sekai eventually stabs him because she is so angry with him. After discovering his body and chopping off his head, Kotonoha confronts Sekai, whom she subsequently kills. She then boards a boat and departs while holding Makoto’s head.
2.Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno
Sakura Haruno has a love interest, albeit a bad one in Sasuke Uchiha. Despite numerous cautionary signs beginning with Sakura gushing over Sasuke despite his complete lack of interest in her and punching Naruto for interfering with her time with him, the story soon switches to Sasuke. She is constantly insulted by Sasuke, who rudely ignores her. Despite several close calls with death and betraying Sakura’s and her friends’ confidence, Sasuke is nonetheless accepted back by Sakura. Sasuke is away on missions so much after the two really get married and produce a child that he literally cannot recognize his own daughter. Although he appears to be interested in resolving issue, this only occurs when Sarada is twelve, indicating that he has been ignoring his relationship for at least that long. By then, it’s been too little, too late.
3.Nana Komatsu and Takumi Ichinose
In a relationship with Takumi Ichinose, the lead singer of the band Trapnest, is Nana Komatsu, also known as Hachi. Takumi is a player who is noted for chowing down on women swiftly. However, between him and Hachi, things are different. It seems as though Takumi loves Hachi and doesn’t want her to leave his side. Hachi isn’t sure if she wants to be with Takumi or Nobu, a guitarist she previously befriended. Hachi is apprehensive of the father when she learns she is expecting. She determines that Takumi is a better fit despite who the real father is because of his status in a well-known band. Takumi continues to cheat on Hachi repeatedly, just like before.
4.Misa Amane And Light Yagami
We’re going to concentrate on Light Yagami’s terrible connection with Misa Amane for the time being despite the fact that he has demonstrated his inherent inability to have a decent relationship with anyone.
Misa finds Light using a combination of her Shinigami eyes and plain ol’ sleuthing, and this is how their romance begins. She initially merely wants to express her gratitude to him for taking out the person who had killed her parents, but after noticing how attractive he is, she decides she wants to spend the rest of her life working with him to catch criminals. At first, Light is dubious, but he soon comes to see that he can utilize her for his entire “becoming the god of the new world” thing. Not exactly the definition of a loving couple!
5.Sora And Judge Vinsmoke
A relationship is really horrible when one spouse has no regard for the other’s thoughts or bodily liberty. Unfortunately, Sora and Judge, Sanji’s parents, are in that circumstance. Judge considers emotions to be worthless and useless, and that the only thing that makes people useful is their power. Sora, on the other hand, doesn’t only appreciate physical power and believes it’s crucial for people to be able to feel all of a person’s emotions.
It would be acceptable if they merely disagreed while respecting one another’s differences. Judge, however, does more than just mock Sora’s theories; he also compels her to have a risky, experimental surgery in attempt to change the brains of their unborn children. These actions transform the kids into ruthless, heartless powerhouses that rebel against all she holds important. the drug she ingests to try and counteract the surgery combined with the strain of the surgery itself ruins her health and ultimately leads to her passing.
6.Mugi Awaya and Hanabi Yasuraoka
Hanabi Yasuraoka has feelings for her instructor and childhood friend Narumi, but she is aware that they cannot be together. Akane, who plays Mugi Awaya, is his music teacher, and they are in love. For convenience’s sake, Hanabi and Mugi begin the series dating. Both of them yearn to interact with others. The two are on the list because they aren’t actually in love. They end up getting married, which only makes things worse for Narumi and Akane.
7.Ladd Russo And Lua Klein
Ladd Russo is a ruthless hitman who enjoys taking people’s lives. His fiancée Lua Klein is among those he wants to ruin the most. He is madly in love with her and believes that killing her is the ultimate expression of love, not because he despises her. Lua thinks it just as romantic and wishes Ladd would enjoy taking her life. It won’t happen right away since the goal is for him to do it after taking a lot of other lives first.
8.Goku And Chi Chi
The beginning of Goku and Chi Chi’s relationship is not good. When Goku pledges to Chi Chi, he has no concept what marriage is; he believes it to be some sort of meal. That kind of unknowing childish vow shouldn’t be kept, but Goku follows through with it nevertheless. Things worsen after they’re truly married. The two cannot agree on anything or talk about their priorities because they are so different. Goku is more focused on his training whereas Chi Chi wants their son Gohan to spend his time learning rather than being wiped off by aliens.Goku continuously undermines his wife’s efforts and puts his child in danger by doing whatever he wants, refusing to genuinely discuss their parenting approach and reach a resolution.
9.Tsukasa Domyouji And Tsukushi Makino
Teenage lad Tsukasa Domyouji, who is extraordinarily affluent, runs his own school alongside his friends in the F4 club. Anyone they don’t like is the focus of constant bullying. Tsukushi Makino, a student from a middle-class household, finds herself in that situation after defending a friend from Tsukasa. Tsukasa becomes interested in her as a result of Tsukushi’s refusal to put up with his abuse; up until that moment, everyone had always tolerated his bad behavior.
10.Kyousuke and Kirino Kousaka
When Kyousuke learns that his younger sister enjoys little sister eroge, his life starts to alter. Kyousuke begins to develop feelings for Kirino as a result of his adventures with her. Kirino feels the same way but is unable to acknowledge it because she is a tsundere. After dating for a while in the series, they separate ways. Due to their separation, they have come to appreciate each other even more. Because of his feelings for his younger sister, Kyousuke’s parents even force him to leave his home. The two feel it would be better if they remained siblings after getting married at the end of the series for the experience.
