New Thai BL series Bed Friend the Series has released the premiere date for its first episode. Here, we will talk about the plot of the series along with the cast, followed by the release date and episode streaming guide.
BL is a new genre that focuses on homosexual relationships between two men. The recent popularity of the Thai BL (Boy’s Love) series is no joke. The popularity of Thai BLs, which were first influenced by Japanese manga, has now surpassed that of Japanese BLs. After many issues with the production of the Bed Friend series, Mandee Work has finally announced the release date for the series. Initially, Bed Friend was supposed to be released on November 5, 2021, as part of another BL series, The love of the intermediary. Due to some problems in the production, the dates changed to 2022. Subsequently, the main protagonists of The love of the intermediary, Jimmy Karn Kritsanaphan and Tommy Sittichok Pueakpoolpol, withdrew from the series. As a result, the release of the series was postponed again. Seeing such delays, Mundee Work announced the launch of Bed Friend the series separately, although the Middleman’s Love story will follow the series with a new cast after Bed Friend concludes.
Although Bed Friend will be released separately, it will still have characters from The love of the intermediary to sew the connection between the two series.

Bed Friend The premise of the series
Bed Friend, the series directed by well-known BL director Cheewin Thanamin Wongskulphat, focuses on the relationship between two male characters, Uea and King.
King and Uea both work in the same office. King is a charming man, who is a Casanova. He doesn’t believe in relationships; he only has sexual partners. On the other hand, Uea is an introverted and good-looking person. Although King and Uea have known each other for a long time as they are mutual friends with Jade (the Middleman’s Love character), Uea despises King for his annoying personality.
However, one day, King makes a deal with Uea about having a friend with benefits relationship on one condition: they cannot fall in love with each other, or their sexual relationship must end. Initially, Uea does not accept the deal. Later, tired of being cheated on by a loved one, he changes his mind and accepts King’s offer.

As time goes by, seeing King’s romantic side, Uea begins to have feelings for King. Gradually, King begins to fall for him as well, and the conflict of feelings between the two men begins to escalate.
Therefore, it will be interesting to see how the relationship between these pairs of friends with benefits takes a turn. The series contains quite a few NC (No Children) scenes, as a result it is rated 18+.

Thai BL, Bed Friend has an ensemble of young but talented actors. The leads of the series are Net Siraphop Manithikhun, who plays the character King Kunakorn, and James Supamongkon, who plays the character Uea Anol. Their off-screen chemistry has drawn a lot of attention from the audience to the point that their fans call them a ‘madly in love couple’, which has also positively affected the reviews of the trailer for the series.
