The studio behind the world-famous Demon Slayer anime is teaming up with Hoyoverse to produce a Genshin Impact anime.
It’s on the occasion of a live event to celebrate the launch of version 3.1 of the video game Genshin Impact that Chinese society Hoyoverse (MiHoYo) has announced a “long-term collaborative project” with the Japanese animation studio Ufotablenotably renowned for having carried out anime Demon Slayer.
Although for the moment, the format of the project, its release date or its production team have not been revealed, a first conceptual trailer has however been presented!
This presents some landscapes directly inspired by the video game, a first appearance of Paimon – the little guide who accompanies the players from the start of their adventure -, as well as the two amnesiac adventurers that the player can choose to embody.
As a reminder, Genshin Impact is a video game developed and published by the company MiHoYo, available since September 2020 all over the world on Android, iOS, PC, PS4 and PS5.
In the fantastic world of Teyvatwhere elemental energy and magic flow freely, a brother and sister are suddenly separated by an unknown goddess, who takes care to remove their memories.
Stripped of his powers, the player begins a long journey across the world in order to seek answers from the Seventhe elemental gods at the origin of everything.
A marvelous universe, filled with colorful characters and creatures as mysterious as they are dangerous, presents itself before you! Will you be able to find the person you were separated from and solve the different puzzles in the world?
