In the previous chapter, Yuuya ended up having a nightmare and seeing Kaede sleeping next to him so peaceful and close made him nervous. Because of that, he couldn’t go to bed that night and his head was heavy when he didn’t sleep. To clear his head, he decides to take a hot bath to cool off.

He sees the 4k TV and chooses to play it, but then reconsiders when he thinks Kaede might see him playing it by himself. He believes that if his life partner did funny things on his behalf, excluding him, he would feel lonely too, so Kaede might feel the same. She feels terrible for having that thought and decides that she can’t play when she’s not around him.

He realizes that there is no fridge in the house and worries about what they will do with breakfast. Miyamoto San comes out of nowhere to greet him and is surprised by his sudden appearance. He then notices that Miyamoto-san is carrying a bag from a family-owned burger chain.
