Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 213 is titled “Curse of the Belly: Under Heaven Part 5” and the chapter opens with none other than the infamous Sukuna giving his monologue. This monologue not only reveals Sukuna’s plan for Megumi, but also why he killed Yuji when he did it in front of Megumi.

It was to form a binding vow with Yuji so he could take over Yujji at the exact moment he wanted to take over none other than Megumi. Sukuna’s monologue begins by saying that the day he faced Megumi as Yuji for the first time, he felt something amazing from him, which was his healing techniques and his ability to surpass even him.

If he wanted to, Sukuna would have forced Megumi to eat his fingers that very day, however, he didn’t want to risk being caged inside Megumi like he was inside Yuji. Therefore, he waited until he could get more powers and waited for the perfect moment for Megumi’s soul to break.

Sukuna talks a lot about Megumi seeing her sister as an incarnate sorceress who broke her heart and soul and explains why she did those things when she did them. The issue then picks up where she last left off and Yuji is shocked to see what he is witnessing.

Before he could ask anything, Megumi as Sukuna comes in with a charge and hits Yuji. The punch causes the latter to vomit blood before he is sent flying through the buildings in a startling double spread. Yuji ends up landing on the roof of another building with rubble next to him.

After a crazy chapter, all the fans are wondering what will happen next in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 214 which is the next installment after this one. Unfortunately though, fans will have to wait until the end of this month as after the release of Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 213, he will be taking a break.

Which means that Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 214 will appear in Weekly Shonen Jump 2023 Magazine Issue 13 which will be released on Monday, February 27, 2023 at midnight Japanese Standard Time.
