Miyuki Shirogane is off to Stanford but apparently that’s not the last we see of him, although the last chapter was about someone else. Here’s everything about Kaguya-sama: Love Is War Chapter 277, its release date, and other useful seinen manga info!
Chapter 276 was the last for Ai Hayasaka. A fairly complex character, she started out as Kaguya’s servant, but later became her true friend and forged her own path.
Hayasaka’s friendship with Shirogane, mixed with the bitterness she once felt for Kaguya, caused her to engage in behavior that made us wonder if Hayasaka loved Shirogane.
But here, there is no resentment, it’s just the team having fun.
Kaguya-sama: Love Is War Chapter 276 Recap
Chapter 276 is the last for Ai Hayasaka and it takes place a few years in the future.
Hayasaka, who took the time to travel the world in her early twenties, returns to Japan, where she meets Ishigami who is just trying to make sure he can graduate on time.
The two discuss their and their friends’ lives after high school.
Kaguya took a photography class and now makes a living working as a photographer, which means her communication skills have improved a lot!
Kobachi Osaragi is, predictably, doing a master’s degree, while Miko Shijo works in the family business. Nagisa and Tsubame are still together.
While still a college student, Nagisa had a daughter — whom she named Miko, after her best friend — and managed to graduate against all odds.
Chika Fujiwara, who comes from a family of politicians, would help her father in his campaign while Miko Iino celebrates now that she is in college.
For those wondering who Chika Fujiwara will end up with, there’s still a lot of teasing between her and Hayasaka:
Miyuki is back in Japan and he hasn’t changed much. As he first tells Hayasaka that the others couldn’t come, Kaguya, Fujiwara, and Iino soon show up.
During this heartwarming reunion, they all talk about the silly things they used to do at school, but admit that they still have so much fun.
At the end of the chapter, we see a sleeping Hayasaka, and the narrator’s note that her story will end when all her dreams come true, along with the inscription “a dream within a dream.”
So, is Hayasaka dreaming of all this, or not?
Either way, we can totally imagine the characters in those situations when they’re a bit older.
The end of the Kaguya-sama: Love Is War manga has been announced, so we only have seven chapters left to read!
