- Mirko, the Rabbit Hero, infiltrates Dr. Garaki’s secret lab
- Mirko bravely takes on four high-level Nomus but gets injured
My Hero Academia’s professional heroes aren’t ranked solely based on their strengths or Quirks. Their contribution to society, the number of cases solved and their overall popularity are also taken into account. However, the best heroes are by no means weak; they have their own strengths and can easily hold their rank in a fight. But since the anime mostly focuses on Class 1-A, most of these top heroes don’t get much screen time.
Mirko, the Rabbit Hero, currently holds the title of Hero Pro #5. Despite this, she didn’t get much screen time in My Hero Academia. During his appearance during the Hero Billboard Chart JP event, Mirko gives a brief speech warning of villains trying to rise. The next few appearances aren’t anything special, but she finally gets her chance to shine in Season 6.
Mirko, the Rabbit Hero, infiltrates Dr. Garaki’s secret lab
Although Endeavor and the others have launched their attack on the Paranormal Liberation Front, they have yet to go on the offensive. A good number of heroes headed towards civilians and innocents, evacuating them to minimize unnecessary casualties in the upcoming fight. There was, however, one hero tasked with pushing into enemy territory: Mirko. She alone walked through the premises of the hospital, heading for its deepest parts. She was the first to encounter the countless Nomus that Dr. Garaki had freed and warned Endeavor of their appearance.
Mirko traveled through the Nomus and found herself in some kind of large laboratory, where she found the infamous Dr. Garaki. The lab was filled with vats containing various experiments. Seeing these vats, Mirko began shaving them and relayed his findings to the others, being ordered to arrest the Doctor. Without further ado, Mirko jumped into action and headed straight for the doctor. She wanted to give him a good kick to confirm if he was the real one or another clone, regardless of the doctor’s confession. But before she could, a loyal little Nomu got in her way.
Mirko bravely takes on four high-level Nomus but gets injured
Mocha’s interruption allowed Dr. Garaki to unleash his masterpieces: the Nomus High-Ends. Five of them were released from their vats, and they all seemed to hate heroes. Crust arrived to the rescue just in time, but one of the Nomus recognized and attacked Hero #6, marking him as his target while the other four High-Ends were left to Mirko. She located Dr. Garaki, then departed hoping to catch up with him immediately. However, the Nomus blocked her.
Unable to continue her pursuit, Mirko was forced to confront the monsters. She dodged and counterattacked the Nomus High-End’s attacks but was eventually taken by the Ranged Attacker’s Quirk. The space around her left arm twisted, effectively mauling it, but she resisted the pain and launched herself at her attacker. Easily dodging the Nomu’s lasers, Mirko decapitated him and knocked his head to the ground. With one high-level Nomu eliminated, there were three more left.
Mirko’s fight against the high level Nomu is nothing short of spectacular. It shows Hero #5’s strengths while highlighting his courage and dedication. The fact that Mirko faced four incredibly powerful enemies without any backup and injured her arm proves that she is very strong. Although she is unable to use an arm, she is always ready to push forward. But if reinforcements don’t arrive soon enough, Mirko could continue to be in the limelight in future episodes of My Hero Academia.
