My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 18 – The Truth About One For All
My Hero Academia Season 6 Episode 18 saw Izuku Midroriya talking to the predecessors of One For All users. Still, this time all wielders emerged correctly in one, including All Might’s aura, talking to Deku about the One For All quirk. Through his conversation, we learned that the fourth wielder had the peculiar sense of danger that caused the wielder to vary from All For One during his time and avoid fighting him.
The fourth wielder was certain that he would be killed in his fight against All For One, so he made it his life’s purpose to power up One For All’s quirk. He was the second of All Might to hold the quirk the longest and died at the age of 40 due to “Old Age”. They come to the conclusion that the reason All Might kept the quirk for so long was because he had no quirk and his cup wasn’t as full as everyone else’s.
And since the quirks of all the other carriers have started to emerge now, it would be impossible to pass the quirk on to a new user without breaking them. Therefore, Izuku Midoriya is the last wielder of One For All and now it is his responsibility to stop All For One aka Shigaraki.
However, Izuku denies killing Shigaraki as he sees a child within all the mess and intends to save him, making the wielders very happy that it’s Izuku Midoriya to stop all of this. At the end of the episode, we see that Deku left UA with a note explaining to his classmates about his quirk and how he doesn’t want everyone else to get hurt in this fight.
