What happened in Noragami chapter 104?
Even though chapter 104 was really short and sparse, there were a few points worth noting. We saw Father’s soul come out of Fujisaki and assume his original form, which apparently surprises everyone as it’s a rare sight.
It is now confirmed that Yato believes that Kazuma is really dead, so he refuses to let Yukine fight because he is afraid of losing her too. We also saw numerous gods die, which showed that the adversary they’re up against is indeed strong and that’s presumably why Father had to assume his form.
The father used a really strong spell that seemed as if it covered the entire place in fire as if a huge sea of fire had appeared that distorted the world itself. The chapter ends with the line “give birth to a new nation,” which would become clearer in the chapter. 105.
