Here’s some context. Earth, specifically a region in the desert, is under attack by aliens. But our overpowered protagonist, Jin Woo, knew exactly what was going on. He realized that it was some kind of alien invasion situation and that the aliens were looking for him because they could feel the incredible power from him. In order to stop the invasion, Jin Woo goes to the location in the desert just as strange objects started falling to Earth from the cracks.

Summary of Solo Leveling chapter 185

A showdown between Taewoong and Jin Woo ensues before the competition even begins. Taewoong feels a strange urge to kneel in front of Jin Woo, but she yells that now she might be afraid of someone as weak as him.

The two go to a secluded spot, and Jin Woo exerts his power over Taewoong discreetly. Taewoong sheds uncontrollable tears and gives in to his urge to kneel in front of Jin Woo. Jin Woo decides that since Taewoong lives as a human right now, there was no need for the two of them to get involved.

Taewoong suddenly experiences a strange feeling and wonders if he was experiencing love, which completely baffled Jin Woo. But she straightened him out soon after with just a couple of snaps of her fingers. Elsewhere, a person named Dave goes to an old woman’s house to ask her about Jin Woo.

He had seen Jin Woo fight the aliens single handedly and feels that he is a threat. The old woman, who appears to be psychic, tells Dave to hold back on her questions, as she claims that she doesn’t see things like she did before. However, the lady says that she knows what Dave is going to ask her and that she knows the identity of the person Dave is asking about.

But he also says that he won’t reveal anything about that particular person. This angered Dave and he asked why he made that decision. He said that it was not the first time that the person in question had saved humanity and that she had done it before. This surprised Dave and she asked him to confirm if she was sure that Jun Woo was not a dangerous person.

The old woman gives her word that Jin Woo was not dangerous. So Dave agrees to forget about the fact that the lady knew about Jin Woo. Thomas, who was hiding, asked her why she saved him and she replied that she had done a lot of good in her previous life. In the distance, Jinwoo meets a strange girl.
