Solo Leveling: Chapter 191 Recap

The previous chapter was an emotional rollercoaster for readers, with humorous scenes involving Jin-Woo’s family life and Geon-Hee’s heartbreaking death. The chapter starts with Jin Ho and Jin Woo drinking together and Jin Ho claims that he will finally propose to Jin Ah for good this time around.

Jin Ho also shows off the expensive ring he bought for Jin Ah and asks Sung for advice on how to approach the matter. Sung gives Jin Ho some sensible advice, telling him that he doesn’t need to give Jin Ah expensive gifts to show his affection. The police chief calls Sung to discuss the sudden disappearance of a suicide victim’s father and informs him that President Geon Hee is in critical condition. When Sung goes to visit Geon Hee, he asks him to show him the old memories where they fought together to save humanity. It is with great emotion that Sung shows Geon Hee his old memories. Soon after, Geon Hee passed away peacefully after reliving those memories.

Sung is very moved by Geon Hee’s death and tells him that he did well to save the world and sacrifice a lot for the sake of mankind. As Sung leaves the hospital, he receives a frantic call from Hae In who is in shock after Soo Ho starts stealing. Sung tells Hae In that he will return home earlier than planned and teach Soo Ho how to fly properly and control himself better.
