But Rentaro and Hifumi bonded over numbers because Rentaro tried his best to profess the love he felt the first time they met by becoming numbers himself. Hifumi never felt that way about anyone other than numbers and she agreed to be her girlfriend since all the number calculations they did together really touched her.

The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Really Really Love You is a one-of-a-kind rom-com manga that will leave you torn and feeling the warm glow of love at the same time. The manga story is written by Rikito Nakamura and the illustrations are by Yukiko Nozawa.

The synopsis of the story is as follows. Rentaro had a dismal love life for as long as he can remember. He had professed his feelings to a hundred girls only to be rejected each time. Quite devastated by his deplorable situation, he goes to a sanctuary to do the only thing he could do, that is, pray to a god.

To his astonishment, the God of Love appears before him and tells him that the reason he is rejected every time is that he had a hundred soul mates waiting for him due to a mistake in the God of Love’s calculation. Under normal circumstances, a person should have only one soul mate.

But Rentaro has finally been blessed because on his first day of high school, he meets two girls with whom he felt a spark and they are absolutely smitten with him. The God of Love warned him that if he cannot love one of them, he will die in an accident. Not wanting this fate to befall the girls he loved, Rentaro decides to date the two of them.

As the story progresses, Rentaro meets new girls and also falls in love with them as he refuses to choose and loves them all equally.

The chapter begins with Rentaro introducing Hifumi as his new girlfriend and asking all his other girlfriends to accept her. Suu tells the girls that if anyone wants to talk to her, it better be in numbers, since that’s all she gets. The girls say that it is time to talk about love and sit together in a circle.

They ask him about his first love and Hifumi remembers a time when he was in kindergarten and fell in love with first, second and third place at a sporting event. Not people, but numbers. The next day, one of her girls wished her good morning, but Hifumi couldn’t remember her name since she only cared about numbers.

Hifumi couldn’t remember any of Rentaro’s girlfriend’s names and was worried that Rentaro would hate her. Aashii decides to help her and invites her to lunch. Aashii asks her to try to match each name with a number so she can remember the names like that.

The two spent the entire afternoon memorizing names in this unique way. Hifumi remembered all the names using number substitution puns in Japanese. Rentaro is very happy to have accomplished this feat and they share a kiss.
