The Eminence in Shadow Episode 20: Release date, spoilers and where to watch

The Bushin Festival is underway and Claire gave Cid her ticket or rather bullied him into going to the God of War tournament. There she meets the legendary princess Iris and even learns that she has VIP tickets. Everyone is looking forward to Princess Iris’s fight and she is confident that she will win the tournament.

But little does she know what awaits her at the festival. In addition, Mundane Man begins to generate anticipation among viewers and contenders. But no one can really know if he’s strong or just fast and lucky. But Princess Iris felt the immense caliber of her from the very beginning.

Before we dive into what’s going to happen and the release date for episode 20, here’s a quick synopsis of the story. Like most boys his age, Minoru wants to be strong. But he takes this desire to the next level. He rigorously trains day and night to achieve his dreams and overcome his limitations, while he strives to be nothing more than a background character.

But, one day, all his dreams came crashing down when he was involved in a fatal accident. However, to his surprise, he did not die. Instead, he wakes up in a whole new world as Cid Kagenou and is blessed with immense power.

To make the most of his new life, he forms a group called Shadow Garden and begins recruiting people so they can defeat an imaginary enemy that Cid made up in his head, The Cult of Diablos. But Cid is the only one who thinks that the Diablos Cult is imaginary.

As word spreads about the growing power and popularity of the Garden of Shadows, Cid soon discovers that his imagined enemy is very real and that the others have known it all along.

Recap of The Eminence in Shadow Episode 19

The name of episode 19 is “Dancing Puppet”. Princess Iris is practicing her swordsmanship before the tournament and remembers her rise to greatness as she plays with all of her memories. She tells herself that she will show that she has the power of hers and that she will succeed.

In the VIP seats, Iris joins Cid and tells him that she was there because she had another match. Suddenly Beatriz (goddess of war) arrives and she is arrested by the authorities. But Iris tells them that she was the one who invited her. Beatriz says that she is looking for her niece.

Elsewhere, Lord Perv Asshat is drugging the king into compliance. He’s just the puppet king and it’s all a trap to bring Rose back to the palace so Lord Perv can hand her over to the Devil Cult. He plans to install the puppet leader as the next king of Midgar.

It was Princess Iris’s turn in the tournament and everyone was cheering for her. She will face the Worldly Man and is confident that she will win. As soon as the match begins, Iris feels a cut and her head is detached from her body. Next, we see someone in a costume heading to the palace.

Returning to the match, Iris realizes that what she experienced was just an illusion, but it was enough to confuse her and bring fear to her heart. She steps forward to attack again, but this time the same thing happened to her leg. Meanwhile, the costumed person enters where the VIP seats are and sees a whole horde of corpses on the ground.

She assumes it was the work of the Devil Cult. Iris makes the final attack, but the Mundane Man easily dodges it and with a simple move, he defeats Princess Iris. Later, we learn that the woman in the costume was none other than Princess Rose. Asking her father, the king, to forgive all her sins, she attacks and kills him.

Lord Perv’s men come in to attack her when Mundane Man (Cid) steps in and blocks their attacks. Princess Rose escapes from the palace and Lord Perv orders reinforcements, but no one was around. However, Beatrix volunteers to defend him. Cid and Beatriz begin to fight.
