Remilia tells the demon king that she has a way to save the realm from demons, but Angel is skeptical. How can a mere human girl claim to have what it takes to save the realm from demons? Remilia explains that she knows about the miasma and how to purify it due to Emi’s memories. The miasma spreads whenever the Creator uses the divine powers on it, and it can be purified if the Goddess of Purification is brought to that place to restore the natural order.

The only way to purify the Creator of the world is to destroy his body and purify the heart that lies within. Remilia asks the demon king for the key to the shrine, and instead of simply handing her a national treasure, the king decides to go with her. The One Within The Villainess Chapter 10 Recap

Chapter 10 is titled “The Villain Smiles.” The demon king decides to go with Remilia to the shrine, and Remilia thinks that the demon king’s strength would be welcome at this point. Meanwhile, Remilia is given a room in the demon king’s palace to spend the night.

Remilia wonders what they would serve for dinner and heads to the kitchen. She presents Klimt with a whole box of meat and vegetables, saying that she summoned them from her land. She even offers to help Klimt prepare dinner. The rather fancy meal is brought before the demon king, and he is shocked.

Klimt explains that Remilia had provided them with all the food as a token of their friendship. Remilia thinks that she will have to be the one to use purification magic on the demon king the next day when they visit the fallen god’s shrine, since demons can’t use purification magic on their own.

Remilia wanted to safeguard the spirit of the demon king that had become so ruthless to protect her people, since that was what Emi would do. The next day, Remilia uses purification magic on the demon king and they head to the shrine.

Remilia tells him that humans and demons are all the same and that demons are just humans who have a strong resistance to miasma. She said that she truly believed that humans and demons could coexist.
