Tokimori-san is completely defenseless! Chapter 7 was the conclusion of the short story arc which almost led to a misunderstanding. When Sugawa ran into Tokimori outside the office, he fell and injured his ankle, making it difficult for him to walk. And given how late she leaves the office, it wasn’t a surprise that Sugawa brought her home. However, she didn’t expect someone from her office to pick her up and possibly discover her cohabitation secret.

Sugawa fled the scene, carrying Tokimori-san on his back to the apartment. He was worried about what would happen if the office found out about their relationship. But Tokimori had a different idea and asked if they should start dating for real. Sugawa doesn’t know how to respond to this, but Tokimori was already asleep before he could respond properly. The next day, it turns out that his coworker who has seen them thinks Sugawa is Tokimori’s nice guy and praises him for his devotion. Sugawa doesn’t say much, as he allows them to keep his secret.
