Everyone’s favorite honest couple will be back soon. The second season of TONIKAWA Over The Moon For You 2 has been confirmed for November 2021 and features the return of the series’ original animation staff as well as original cast members. Tonikawa will have more episodes and a second season. Along with the news that the show would have a second season, new illustrations of Nasa and Tsukasa were also shown. The manga that TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You is based on was written by Kenjirou Hata. He made Hayate the combat butler as well. It was first published on February 14, 2018 in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday. The manga had 22 tankobon volumes available as of December 2022. Crunchyroll allowed people outside of Japan to watch the first season starting on October 3, 2020, and ended on December 19, 2020. Two OVA episodes premiered. on August 18, 2021 and November 22, 2022.

TONIKAWA Over The Moon For You 2: New Updates Announced!

During the current anime season, the second season of the Tonikawa: Over the Moon for You program will begin. On the official Anime Japan 2023 schedule page, it says, “This is a special stage for the highly anticipated second season of the Tonikaku Kawaii anime, which will begin airing in April 2023!” This suggests that TONIKAWA season 2 would start airing in April of that year. The story of Nasa Yuzaki and his wife, Tsukasa Tsukuyomi, will continue in TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You Season 2.

Everyone who worked on the first season is back, including character designer Masakatsu Sasaki, show writer Kazuho Hyoudou, and composer Endou. Hiroshi Ikehata is in charge of the show, and Kazuyo Hyoudou is in charge of writing the series. Once again, Seven Arcs will be in charge of making the animated series.

What is the anime about?

Nasa Yuzaki is our main character. On the day of his high school entrance exams, the young prodigy is captivated by a stunning classmate. He was so taken aback by her stunning beauty that he walked directly into the path of oncoming traffic. When the girl comes to help him, NASA quickly apologizes to her to save face from her. Tsukasa Yuzaki is willing to ask Nasa out on a date, but only if he marries her first. However, this is the only way he will think of getting her out of there. Tsukasa surprises NASA on his 18th birthday by showing up at his house. Also, the next day, they start their life as husband and wife. The Tonikawa manga has sold over 4 million copies, which is a testament to its popularity.

TONIKAWA Over The Moon For You 2: release date

On March 25, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. JST, the anime will have its Green Stage debut at Anime Japan 2023. (9:00 p.m. EST on March 24, 2023). North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and the CIS will be able to watch the episodes on Crunchyroll simultaneously with their Japanese broadcast.
